New Yaesu FT-710. JULY 6, 2022 – Social media awash with news today that YAESU is about to introduce a new transceiver – the FT-710. It will cover 160-6m with 100w output. Note: The FT-710M and FT-710S are the 50 and 10 watt versions of this new radio. Scheduled to be released in late August, the price is still unknown.One of the comments made in that video is that the FT-DX10's A/D is "audio grade" as opposed to the "much more expensive A/D" in the 710. I'm still puzzled over the advantage of one technology over the other. The DX10 seems to be the better radio now, but perhaps a firmware update in the 710 could really make it awesome.

Sadly my only complaint on the ftdx10 was a single antenna input. I wish it had a rx antenna input, it’s light years better then my 991a and much better audio out, my 991a would splatter the upper when Tx on lsb.
